Odyssey Martial Arts Alberta Ltd is a Calgary area Martial Arts Academy offering the popular Korean Martial Art discipline known the world over as Tae Kwon Do, sometimes spelled Tae Kwondo, and even sometimes referred to as Taekwondo as well as the growing in Popularity American Kickboxing.
In August 2010 we expanded our brand new facility in south east Calgary, to meet the needs of our quickly growing Academy and to ensure the best equipment and space is provided for proper training. This includes 3000 sq ft on the main floor plus 700 sq ft on the mezzanine as well as individual private change rooms and student lockers.
As adults who have been involved in the Martial Arts for many years, we understand the amazing results many people have achieved, from improved stamina, health and overall well-being, to a high degree of self-control and discipline.
We encourage everyone from ages 3 and over to come check out our South East Calgary Martial Arts Academy!
Our Philosophy
As parents of young children ourselves, we keenly understand the precious gift you are placing in our care when you enroll your child in our Martial Arts Acedemy. All of our instructors are Shuman Concepts Certified Childrens instructors and as such have an exceptional understanding of the different needs of Children at the different developmental stages. We will always strive to work with all students in a positive, professional and helpful manner to ensure steps forward at all times and in all areas of life.
